THE FOUNDATION

Francesca Procaccini was a medical student who combined her passion for art with her studies, spending much of her time creating illustrations that expressed her joyful vision of the world. Francesca dreamed of becoming a doctor to help others and make a difference in that world that she loved to illustrate so much. A dream that unfortunately was interrupted at the age of twenty, when a sudden death prematurely took her away from the people who loved her. The Il Mondo di Chicca ETS Foundation was born in 2021 to keep Francesca’s dreams alive through charitable actions aimed at the population of Pemba, an island whose poverty had greatly affected Francesca during a trip. The logo of the Foundation is one of the illustrations that Francesca’s art has produced. One more way to continue to be there, now and forever.
